It starts with the first lead, you can call or email us, and we need the client’s permission to contact them. We do not require you to sign a contract or be exclusively tied to us in any way; we work lead by lead and aim to deliver the best advice and service possible. If the client does sign our auction agreement, then we undertake a signed fee agreement with you at the same time.

The build-up through the advised marketing time is 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the property, and each week you will be copied into the detailed market feedback reports. It is through this process that the power of combining the traditional auction build-up with the 2-hour dedicated online bidding window is made clear with a speedy, certain and profitable sale.

50/50 sale commission split, we do all the work, and your client is well taken care of

We expect over 90% of lots to sell as advised on the planned auction date, and our fees are deducted from the contracted 10% deposit paid by the winning bidder, who becomes the buyer and exchanges contracts unconditionally on the sale. You are paid, with most of our agents getting at least 1% of the sale price, on the day of the auction (there can be transfer delays, allow 2 business days).

A few key points, your referred client can, in almost all cases, keep the conveyancer or solicitor you have referred them to through the auction sale process. If the client goes on to sell multiple lots through us, the same financial deal will apply to all of these successful sales. A note on auction fees in general, our advice is almost always that the seller pays the fee, as loading fees onto the bidding and buying market can restrict the bidding enthusiasm of the auction and undermine the process. Our sale commission to the client is 1.25% with a minimum of £2,500, and the industry standard (whether on the seller or the buyer) is 2.7%.
